Welcome Back

Welcome Back Parents

The Greystones Educate Together Parents Association Website (wow, that is a mouthful) is back after a year long hiatus.  During that time we worked together to try to determine what the best role was for this website and what it could do to support the parents, children and the school.

What you see now is the result of that process.

We want this site to be about community and its primary purpose is to facilitate communication; between the school and parents and the parents themselves.

This site is under intense and ongoing development and we are open to all those who wish to provide constructive criticism or offer their support in taking ownership of the many elements of the site.

The Craft Fair is Back

greystones craft logo A-300x211

We are delighted to announce that Sunday, November 17th is our Greystones ETNS Craft Fair. The day will run from 11am to 5pm, and again we’re delighted to say that entry is free! There is something for everyone and for every budget. Our craft room for kids will be back, and we’ll have face-painting, a cafe and archery!  We’ve been working hard to produce a fun day for everyone, but we can’t do it without your help. The more people we have, the less work there is for any one person!

If you’ve got an hour or two to spare anytime on Sunday, please email Fiona McCarthy directly with your information - fiona_mccarthy [AT] yahoo [DOT] com.

We need people to shake buckets, work in the cafe, paint tiny faces, person the Educate Together stand, help the smooth running.. and clean up after it all! We’ll take anyone! So feel free to volunteer, and persuade Grandparents, Aunties, Uncles or older siblings to get involved.

We are going to have the mother of all Cake Sales and we will need the help of all of our school parents to pitch in and bake some buns, cookies, cakes, scones and treats of your choice. We will be selling these treats to raise money for the school in the Craft Fair Cafe.

There will be drop off points in BRAY, DELGANY, KILCOOLE and two in GREYSTONES to bring baked goods to the day before – November 16th OR you can bring them to the Craft Fair on the day.
